A real problem use-case represents a challenge. This is usually transformed (re- duced) to a model. We expect the model to give a response/solution which is (at least in a degree) acceptable/meets the challenge.
Developments in the field of digital transformation are creating new concepts, infrastructures and innovative technologies, which, however, are currently focused not only on the technological aspect
In this paper we study CRF-Challenge-Response Framework as a formalism to han-dle reductions of real situations to model situations to get clues for solutions. We can see this phenomena in many applications.

UAVs are an important part of a concept called Industry 4.0. This can be understood as the next phase in industrial evolution. Previous industrial changes were referred to as revolutions because they were backed by significant inventions such as mechanization, the turbine engine, the construction of automobiles, and the first computer.
Object detection and tracking in video is one of the main tasks of computer vision. This area has great potential for application today and, according to the Department of Computer and Informatics, will be increasingly used for environmental analysis in automated vehicle control systems, evaluating human movement in medicine and sports, tracking objects in industrial systems, or recognizing human activity using security systems.
Successful and safe handling of a drone (UAV) indoors requires solving several tasks that have been defined for mobile agent control, such as navigation, localization, mapping, and route planning. In this paper, we describe a system that uses static cameras to capture the space in which the drone is located.
Perhaps many of you were surprised by the abbreviation UAV in the title of the article and opened it only because you have no idea what it is about. Perhaps you are expecting the introduction of a new technology or a new approach in the field of IT. But you will be surprised when we say that UAVs are currently very popular even among people who have nothing to do with IT.
In modern times, we are increasingly encountering unmanned aerial vehicles, whether for entertainment or professional use. The development of unmanned aircraft is one of the most important categories in the field of technology.
The base stations mounted on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV-BSs) represent a promising solutions offering a connectivity to user equipments (UEs) during emergency or temporary peak traffic conditions. The major limitation related to a deployment of the UAV-BS is the battery capacity and, consequently, operational time.
The use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is becoming increasingly popular due to their versatility and affordability. As the quality and number of sensors available on board UAVs increase, the size of the data also increases. Therefore, it is necessary to explore various data preprocessing options and techniques that can reduce the amount of data transmitted via wireless communications.
UAVs (Unmanned aerial vehicles) have various usages nowadays. The development of UAVs is a complex process regarding physics, electronics, but also operating systems.
Interactive Augmented Reality (ARIT) represents a more advanced concept enabling direct or indirect interaction with content, a space enriched with digital, sound or image data that provides a new dimension of understanding a product or service in a real environment as defined by van Krevelen et al.
Sight belongs as the main information resource for humans and animals as well. Although shape, colors, light, and many other recognitions are seeming to be easy to categorize, find similarities, and recognize by their nature, we learned them as we got older.
The basic functionality of computer technology is to delegate the solution of certain tasks to a computer system.
Currently there is a huge demand for livestreaming services not only in e-learning and related applications but also in industry adaptation.
Monitoring of traffic is usually done using conventional methods by traffic cameras. This approach requires static fixed cameras and existing infrastructure, which may not only be cost-ineffective but also ineffective in situations where temporary monitoring is required.
In the current digital age, there is a significant differentiation of scientific disciplines under the influence of a huge increase in new knowledge.
People are naturally equipped with the ability to detect and recognize various re-al-world objects. Even very small children are able to distinguish objects of different colors, sizes or shapes.
The result of the work is the creation of an energy-efficient device based on the WIO RP2040 module from the Seeed Studio company, which can effectively search for the angle under which the highest measured intensity of solar radiation is found and then ensure positioning to this angle. By achieving such a state, we can charge the Li-ion battery, which also powers this device.
This paper deals with the usage of an airship as a tool for solving various tasks of information and communication technologies (ICT). The most common tasks are measurement of air pollution parameters, monitoring and video recording. There is a big potential in energy savings against quadcopters.
The demand for air transport has a rising tendency over the years. This leads to more and more aircraft movements at a given time. This increase may lead to traffic congestions and an increase in aircraft delays. Airports cannot expand indefinitely and therefore they need to look for other options to mitigate the congestions.
In the aviation industry, air traffic control simulators are mainly used for training new controllers, but they also have their justification in the field of teaching. The basis of the simulator is the software in which it works and the corresponding hardware.
The growing trend of cyberattacks on.тиызжorganizations presents significant challenges for educational institutions. These institutions often lack the financial resources to utilize robust commercial tools to implement security measures. Instead, they must address the problem of selecting effective and efficient opensource tools to achieve the desired security level.
Although it is often acknowledged that Business Intelligence (BI) and Information Systems (IS) tools can revolutionize
organizational management, little is known about the difficulties associated with their integration and application.

Unmanned aircraft systems, commonly known as drones, represent a significant technological advancement in today's society. These systems have led to the rapid development of aviation, supported by the Internet, autonomous robotics, the Internet of Things, smart devices, and smart cities.
World cities have to face external environmental factors that affect the social, economic and
environmental aspects of citizens' lives. Several authors and experts predict that by 2050,
more than 75% of the world's population will live in cities.
The rapid development of information and communication technologies (ICT) has a positive effect on the processes of everyday life of people. ICT support processes that improve the standards of how cities operate.
Ergonomics includes the arrangement of a workplace to meet the needs of the people using it. It is a scientific discipline aiming to ensure work performance, comfort, and minimize the risks of people’s health issues.
In 2020 and 2021, communication networks have faced and will face challenges due
to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. COVID-19 has moved most offline meetings and
services into online spaces and led to a further radical increase in the traffic generated in existing
IP networks.
Rapid advances in technology have brought new innovative possibilities in various spheres of human life. With the
development of breakthrough devices, it is possible to facilitate work or represent a person in countless situations where an
exclusively human factor is not needed. One of such devices is a flying unmanned vehicle, the so-called drone.
At present, each area of a business’s operation needs a considerable amount of data to function properly, while the data is
being processed and utilized on a daily basis. Technological advancements have caused an exponential growth of various
types and forms of data.
Ad-hoc networks are now widespread almost in any sphere. Communication is done by applying and identifying individual sources, which can produce or consume data dynamically. In intelligent transport systems, the significant requirement to ensure reliability, suitability, and relevance identification can be felt.
An essential part of building a developed knowledge society is the effective use of
advanced technologies (intelligent applications, process digitization, use of UAV resources
in combination with information and communication technologies (ICT), real-time data
processing and evaluation) in process management of large and complex systems such
as a Smart City.
As our customer requirements for delivery by a logistics company grow, such as delivery time, the topic of the use of

This article builds on the existing field of research by the authors on the use of UAV by maintenance and training organizations as well as commercial airlines. In this research field, the articles Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in Aircraft Maintenance and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Their Use for Aircraft Inspection have been published.
The ability to perform maintenance processes as fast as possible and with the shortest
downtime are the main goals of every maintenance organization. Every machine with
moving parts is subjected to wear and necessarily requires service and repair. One of the
approaches is to easily plan maintenance processes at scheduled intervals, regardless of
the actual condition of the equipment.
The expansion of powder metallurgy and especially the production of new materials allow their application in specific conditions. It is all about materials that are exposed when using higher stresses. In many cases this is not enough, so the methods of further modifications in order to resolve this issue, or simply increase the service life of the parts, are still in development.
This article concerns the use of the Industry 4.0 solution, analyzing the key areas of the issue. The application of
Industry 4.0 in the transport and logistics fields was discussed. A specific example has been given of how the industrial
revolution is affecting the sector and how it is responding to the new wave of Industry 4.0.
The purpose of this article is to propose a general implementation model for the governance
of European Smart Cities based on a comparison of Smart City standards, implementation
and cluster models of cities in North America and Europe.
The growth of population and amount of produced data caused, that many conventionally used procedures and system, like traditional databases, started gradually losing their efficiency. In contrast with relational databases, NoSQL databases process and manage the big data, characterized by 3V (volume, variety, velocity).
The proposed system is used for examining students during the semester and at the final exam of the subject, for the administration of the subjects, tests for students associated with questions and the answers connected with them. The system is meant to be the leading system for examining students at the University of Žilina.
The relational databases are being developed since the
1960s, which resulted in a stronger theoretical model, a larger
range of features and thus a greater use of these databases. The
main property of the relational database is the storage of data in
highly structured tables while maintaining a normalized form.
Nowadays, great emphasis is done on complex patient
treatment, to ensure correct health care across the world. A person is generally managed by the general practitioner, who
gets the main overview and shits the patient to the specialist based on the assumptions and previous examination.
Flying vehicles which do not have a human pilot on board
are called Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) or drones.
Traditionally, they were used for tasks in military operations
whose capabilities were beyond the capabilities of many. But
recent advances in technology and reductions in costs have
allowed the spread of UAVs to other areas as well.
Data amount to be processed and managed has changed significantly over the decades. Users, developers and database administrators can feel the significant demands and must react properly to ensure the system usability, either by the hardware, as well as software perspectives. Relational databases evolve rapidly over time.
The concept of logistics comes from military preparations and tactics, which highlight the
importance of optimal supply. Historical records, documents, and files describe the progress of
processes underlying the current graphical recording of activities through flowcharts.
Nowadays, there are several ways to visualize 3D spatial monitoring data. Choosing the right method can significantly affect the amount and quality of information we can obtain from this data.
Priestorový monitoring možno charakterizovať ako proces, ktorý zahŕňa viacero činností počnúc získavaním priestorových dáť cez analýzu priestorových dát, spracovanie priestorových dát, až po ich vizualizáciu koncovému používateľovi.
It is a process that includes activities from acquiring spatial data, through their analysis and processing, to visualizing the results. However, monitoring objects, processes, and phenomena in space is often complicated and requires the cooperation of specialists from various fields.

Ich počiatky siahajú do polovice 19. storočia.
