Intelligent technologies for securing front-line medical staff and the operation of medical facilities during the spread of Covid-19 disease
The aim of the project is to experimentally develop and verify the possibilities and methods of using static and mobile sensors, including UAV devices, and systems of intelligent processing of data obtained by them, to detect and prevent the spread of Covid-19 in medical institutions and in facilities critical for societies during the pandemic.

Publication of the COVID project
The Smart Cities market is influenced by global trends of urbanization, the use of advanced
technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) or artificial intelligence, ecological aspects
of limited resources, and pandemics.
The world is currently witnessing a dangerous transformation of the COVID-19 pandemic,
rapidly threatening peoples’ lives and the global economy amid fears of sequential
waves and genetic mutations of this pandemic.
Modern management based on applying new management models and methods and using progressive
management techniques, methods and procedures has got special importance in current period of continuous
transformation and progress of our economy within market conditions of European Union.
Our primary interest in this paper is to use data mining on unstructured data to improve the performance of manufacturing or industrial processes. The main goal of this paper is to transform industrial premises images into helpful knowledge for decision-making without retraining them for this specific environment.
The information system concept was initially associated with the field of management. In a sense, the role of the IS is to provide relevant information at the right
time to perform certain functions in the system.
Information and communication technology means bringing solutions to both profitable and
non-profit environments. The result is real-time data that can be evaluated, or more efficient
communication.
In the era called Industry 4.0, all processes, especially information processes, are accelerating and the demand for their timeliness, accuracy and delivery of the informative value understood by the sender and the recipient is increased in the same way.
Early in the year 2020, the outbreak of COVID-19 created havoc around the
world, leading to mental trauma, shattered economies and, above all, the loss of
human life.
The main motivation of this paper is to study technologies for the protection of healthcare
personnel on the front line and the operation of medical facilities during the spreading of the
disease Covid-19. Our main interest here is indoor technologies for contact tracing and distance
estimation.
Bezpilotné lietadlá (UAV), známe aj ako drony, sa v posledných rokoch začali vo veľkej miere využívať v rôznych oblastiach vrátane vojenského a civilného sektora. Hoci sa pojmy UAV, UAS a RPAV niekedy používajú zameniteľne, všetky označujú lietadlo, ktoré môže lietať bez pilota na palube.
Drony, teda bezpilotné lietadlá, sú súčasťou histórie letectva už dlho. Ich počiatky siahajú do polovice 19. storočia. Avšak až koncom 50. rokov 20. storočia sa začal prudký vývoj bezpilotných lietadiel. Bezpilotné lietadlá, ktoré sa pôvodne používali na vojenké účely, sa odvtedy vyvinuli do mnohých rôznych typov s rôznou hmotnosťou a dosahom na civilné aj komerčné použitie.
Intelligent operating and processing systems for UAV
The research project focuses on the research possibilities and ways of increasing automation, efficiency, and digitisation of production, technological and logistic processes in the production of cars by using autonomously controlled UAV systems combined with ICT equipment for processing and evaluating the data obtained in real-time in accordance with Industry 4.0 standards.

Our long term research project is focused on studying possibilities and ways to increase automation, efficiency, and digitization of production, technological and logistic processes in the automotive industry using autonomously controlled UAV

The major limitation related to a deployment of the UAV-BS is the battery capacity and, consequently, operational time.

Možno mnohých z Vás yaujala skratka UAV v názve článku a otvorili ste ho len preto, lebo nemáte žiadnu predstavu o čo ide. Možno očakavate predstavenie novej technológie alebo nového prístupu v oblasti IT. Budete ale prekvapení, keď povieme, že UAV sú momentálne veľmi populárne aj medzi ľud'mi, ktorí nemajú nič spoločné s IT.
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) sa označujú bezpilotné lietajúce zariadenia - drony. Záujem o drony vyvovalalo aj ich použitie vo vojnovom konflikte na Ukrajine. Riadenie drona je vykonávané spravidla pomocou ovládača alebo pomocou integrovanej riadiecej jednotky, v súčasnej dobe veľmi často s integrovanou umelou inteligenciou (AI).
Úspešná a bezpečná manipulácia s dronom (UAV) v interiéri vyžaduje vyriešenie niekoľkých úloh, ktoré boli definované pre riadenie mobilných agentov, ako je navigácia, lokalizácia, mapovanie a plánovanie trasy. V tomto článku popíšeme systém, ktorý využíva statické kamery na snímanie priestoru, v ktorom sa nachádza dron.
Detekcia a sledovanie objektov vo videu je jedna z hlavných úloh patriacich pod počítačové videnie. Táto oblasť má dnes veľké možnosti uplatnenia a podľa katedry počítačov a informatiky bude čoraz bežnejšie pouzívaná na analýzu prostredia v automatizovaných systémoch riadenia vozidiel, vyhodnocovanie pohybu ľudí v medicíne a športe, sledovanie objektov v priemyselných systémoch, alebo rozpoznávanie činnosti ľudí pomocou bezpečnostných systémov.
Používanie bezpilotných lietadiel (UAV) sa stáva čoraz populárnejšie vďaka ich všestrannosti a dostupnosti. So zvyšovaním kvality a množstvom senzorov dostupných na palube UAV sa zvyšuje aj veľkosť dát. Preto je potrebné preskúmať rôzne možnosti a techniky predspracovania údajov, ktoré dokážu znížiť množstvo prenášaných údajov pomocou bezdrôtových komunikácií.

Previous industrial changes were referred to as revolutions because they were backed by significant inventions such as mechanization, the turbine engine, the construction of automobiles, and the first computer.
Data amount to be processed and managed has changed significantly over the decades. Users, developers and database administrators can feel the significant demands and must react properly to ensure the system usability, either by the hardware, as well as software perspectives. Relational databases evolve rapidly over time.
Nowadays, great emphasis is done on complex patient
treatment, to ensure correct health care across the world. A person is generally managed by the general practitioner, who
gets the main overview and shits the patient to the specialist based on the assumptions and previous examination.
The proposed system is used for examining students during the semester and at the final exam of the subject, for the administration of the subjects, tests for students associated with questions and the answers connected with them. The system is meant to be the leading system for examining students at the University of Žilina.
The growth of population and amount of produced data caused, that many conventionally used procedures and system, like traditional databases, started gradually losing their efficiency. In contrast with relational databases, NoSQL databases process and manage the big data, characterized by 3V (volume, variety, velocity).
The purpose of this article is to propose a general implementation model for the governance
of European Smart Cities based on a comparison of Smart City standards, implementation
and cluster models of cities in North America and Europe.
Systémy bezpilotných lietadiel, všeobecne známe ako drony, predstavujú v dnešnej spoločnosti významný technologický pokrok. Tieto systémy viedli k rýchlemu rozvoju letectva s podporou internetu, autonómnej robotiky, internetu vecí, inteligentných zariadení a inteligentných miest.
Výskum a vývoj inteligentných operačných a spracovateľských systémov pre UAV platformu, ktoré by mali spájať hlavne prednosti UAV, a to malé operačné náklady a vysokú rýchlosť získavania informácií s operatívnym rozhodovaním a spoľahlivou predikciou na základe umelej inteligencie.
V dnešnej dobe existuje viacero spôsobov pomocou ktorých je možné vizualizovať 3D údaje z priestorového monitoringu. Výber správnej metódy môže výrazne ovplyvniť množstvo a kvalitu informácií ktoré z týchto dát môžeme získať.
Priestorový monitoring možno charakterizovať ako proces, ktorý zahŕňa viacero činností počnúc získavaním priestorových dáť cez analýzu priestorových dát, spracovanie priestorových dát, až po ich vizualizáciu koncovému používateľovi.
